Giga Orion

The Orion Series is a licensed-band microwave system that uses the latest wireless technology to deliver high throughput, performance, features, and reliability for network operators. It is used for many mission-critical applications by carriers, enterprises, service providers, and governments around the world. It covers all standard licensed frequency bands from 4.5 to 42 GHz and comes in three form factors (all-outdoor, split-mount, and all-indoor).

The Orion has very high transmit power, up to 1024QAM modulation, link aggregation, header compression, and XPIC for full gigabit performance. It also has hitless adaptive coding and modulation, extensive management and monitoring features, and high system gain. It supports both fiber and copper traffic interfaces and carrier features like SyncE and 1588 v2 precision time protocol.

The family includes the Apex Orion (all-outdoor), Giga Orion (split-mount), and Giga LongHaul (all-indoor). The Orion is reliable and supports mission-critical topologies like 1+1 HSB, 2+0, and space diversity for the Giga LongHaul.
