The Cisco 870 Series integrated services routers are fixed-configuration routers that support DSL, broadband cable, and Metro Ethernet connections in small offices. CISCO878-K9 can run several services simultaneously, such as firewall, intrusion prevention, and VPN encryption; optional WLAN networking with 802.11b/g; and QoS features to improve voice and video applications. The Cisco Router and Security Device Manager (SDM) is a Web-based tool that simplifies setup and deployment, and centralized management capabilities allow network managers to monitor and adjust the network configurations at the remote site.
