The Dubai AI and Web 3.0 Campus is introducing licenses for technology firms, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3 innovations. These licenses cover a range of activities including Distributed Ledger Technology Services, specialized AI research and consultancy, IT infrastructure development, technology research and development, and public networking services.
These licenses FOR TECH FIRMS will be issued by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a global financial hub in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region. The Dubai AI and Web 3.0 Campus, established to foster AI and Web3 innovation, offers physical and digital infrastructure within the DIFC Innovation Hub, including research facilities, accelerator programs, and collaborative workspaces. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s vision to become a leader in AI and Web3 technologies. It’s estimated that AI will contribute $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030, and the Dubai AI and Web 3.0 Campus aims to become a significant cluster of AI and Web3 companies in the region, attracting capital and creating jobs.
The campus will also facilitate Web3 development, leveraging technologies like blockchain, AI, the Internet of Things, and the metaverse. Virtual assets owned in Web3 decentralized structures are expected to grow substantially, making the campus’s focus on these technologies relevant and timely. The CEO of the DIFC Innovation Hub believes that the introduction of these licenses will attract global talent and investment to the region, fostering collaboration, innovation, and Dubai’s position as a technology business hub.
