The RB450Gx4 is a router with five ports that support Gigabit Ethernet, as well as a serial port, 512 MB of flash memory, and a slot for a microSD card. It can accept power from two jacks or PoE (802.3af/ at or passive PoE) with a range of 10 V – 57 V, and it can also supply PoE power to the fifth Ethernet port. It runs on MikroTik RouterOS, a versatile operating system that can turn this device into a powerful router, firewall, or bandwidth manager. It does not come with a case, so you can use your own. It has the same shape as our previous RB850 and RB450 models, so you can reuse the same cases. It has a quad-core ARM processor, 1 GB of RAM, and supports hardware IPsec encryption.
